What are Centerline® Certifications?

CENTERLINE® is a Premium Inspection or Calibration Grade Test Sieve Certification by Advantech Manufacturing, Inc.

Advantech’s Premium Sieve Certifications, Centerline®, are an add-on service when you purchase a new sieve or can be performed on your existing ASTM wire cloth sieves whether it be made by us or any other manufacturer. Common sieve classes that are certified are: metal framed standard test sieves, 3" acrylic sonic sieves, wash sieves, air jet sieves, precision electroformed nickel mesh sonic sieves, and others. 

Certification Process

Each sieve is serialized for accurate identification in your Quality Assurance Program and for historical data in our database. By utilizing a sophisticated image analyzer traceable to NIST, your sieve is scanned for irregularities. Physical measurements are taken in a midpoint orientation of the wire in the X and y directions (warp and weft), and the wire diameters are measured to ensure compliance with the current ASTM-E11 specification. The data gathered is summarized in a comprehensive verification report ("Inspection" or "Calibration" grade certificate).

Each sieve is scanned by sophisticated optical technology and software which takes accurate aperture (opening) measurements in the “X” and “Y” directions (warp and weft).  Wire diameters are also measured to ensure compliance with ASTM E11 specifications.
